Please read the following tips to ensure you get the best results from your soy candle.
Allow the first burn a full 4 hours. This allows the pool of wax to extend to the outside rim of the glass. Soy wax has a "memory." Each time you burn the candle, it will "remember" to burn out to the rim. This will prevent tunnelling and create an even burn.
Keep wicks trimmed to 5mm and centred before every burn. This encourages an even burn, a steady flame, limits sooting and mushrooming of the wick. Should soot form on the side of the glass, start to smoke or flicker, your candle is not burning properly and the flame isn’t controlled. Extinguish the candle, allow to cool and reset for 2 hours, trim the wick and then check for draughts before re-lighting. I would not recommened burning a candle for more than 4 hours at a time, any longer will be dangerous and can damage the candle. Always leave 1cm of wax remaining in the vessal, this ensures the wick remains vertical and the burn under control. The remaining wax can be removed and used as a wax melt.
DO NOT MOVE WHEN LIT. NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED & KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN & PETS
But most importantly relax and enjoy 🖤
