What Is a Wax Melt?

WHAT IS A WAX MELT AND HOW DO THEY WORK?

A wax melt is essential a wickless candle.

Place the required amount of wax onto your Tea-light Burner or Aroma lamp, as the wax melts the fragrance is released into your home.

Our Wax Melt Bars are poured into moulds, each Wax Bar has 5 Cells which can be easily snapped off and placed into your Burner.

Unlike a candle, the wax will not disappear over time, but the scent will. This is the point you will need to remove the wax from your burner and replace it with a fresh Wax Melt.

Typically a Wax Melt will last two or three tea lights, around 12 hours.

Please always use a 4 hour tea–light, never an 8 hour tea-light as this can cause the burner to overheat, causing damage and making it unsafe as well as excessive evaporation of the fragrance oil.

HOW TO REMOVE AN OLD WAX MELT

If your warmer has been on and the wax is in its melted form, pop in one cotton wool pad to absorb the wax. Once all the wax is absorbed remove the cotton wool and throw away. Wipe away any leftover residue with another cotton wool pad or paper towel.

If your wax is cooled and hardened in the warmer switch on the Aroma Lamp or light the tea-light candle for 1-2 minutes. This will warm the wax slightly on one side and the whole Wax Melt will slide out.
